Do I have to be a student to use Noozhoo?

Nope, anyone can join and use Noozhoo. We focus on tools and services to help students and student organizations promote, market, and sell on their campus. Since our launch, several volunteer and not-for-profit organizations have also used Noozhoo successfully. Use your imagination.

What are Members and Sellers?

There are two ways to use Noozhoo: members and sellers (storefronts). Members can get organization communications and shop for public products from all Noozhoo Stores and buy private products from organizations they belong to. Once you are a member, you can become a Seller by creating a Noozhoo Store or be designated as an administrator for an existing organization storefront.

How much does the service cost?

Membership is free. Just create an account to start browsing and buying products from your favorite student organizations.
Noozhoo Storefronts are just $39.95 a month plus the industry's lowest transactions fees
- 7.5% sales fee on all product, event, and apparel sales
- 3.5% sales fee on online dues and donations transactions

What does Noozhoo mean?

Noozhoo means "great collection of wisdom". Noozhoo is the mash of two words:
Noo, which is Greek for mind or collection of wisdom
Nzhoo, which is Apache for very good or great

What is Noozhoo? Is Noozhoo a company?

Noozhoo is a service of Campus Cellect, Inc. Campus Cellect was founded in 2005 by college students for college students as a way to make running student organizations easier and more efficient. The Noozhoo service was introduced in January 2011 to simplify the organization management tools and provide a comprehensive social marketplace that is simple to set-up and use.

I want to link my Noozhoo store to our organization's website. How do I do that?

It's easy. Just watch the tutorial video for an overview and then follow the Instructions on the Website/Blog integration page linked from your Store Admin page.

I want to link my Noozhoo store to my organization's Facebook fanpage. How do I do that?

That's very easy with the Noozhoo Facebook application. Anyone can do it – no development required. Just watch the tutorial video for an overview and then follow the Instructions found in the Facebook integration pae linked from your Store Admin page.


Payments
What is the Processing Fee in the total of my shopping cart?

Noozhoo charges 39 cents for each shopping cart. This covers our basic costs needed to provide the marketplace to members for free. We're not getting rich off this. If we have extra left over, well have a party for everyone....just checking that you're actually reading this :-)

I'm having trouble getting my credit card payment accepted. What can I do?

Please ensure that the payment information you provided is complete and accurate:
1. Is the card type selected and correct (e.g. master card was selected instead of visa or vice versa).
2. Confirm that the card number, expiration date, and the CVV code are correct. (see below for information on CVV codes)
3. Confirm that the name, billing address, and contact information is correct.

If all the information is correct and you are still unable to make the payment please contact your credit card company to verify credit limits and activation status. If there are no issues with the card, the please contact our customer support team and we will be happy to assist you. Please prepare to give a detailed explanation of what happens when you click on the "Submit" button so that our agents can help you in the best, and most efficient way. Contact Us

What is a CVV code and where is it located?

The CVV is a 3 or 4 digit number that is located on the back of your credit card.
The number is usually displayed following the last four digits of your account number.

Orders and Shipments
What do I do if my order does not arrive?

Noozhoo is an open social marketplace. We are not responsible for the products, fulfillment of orders, or shipping. We ask that you work with the seller to organize delivery of the order and address any issues that may arise during the process. If you have a dispute with a Seller that you can not resolve directly with them, please notify Noozhoo / Campus Cellect and provide details of the issue. See Contact Us.

What if I'm outside the United States?

You can be a member anywhere. Currently we only support selling and buying transactions within the U.S. and storefronts must be based in the United States. Check back with us later for updates on our international plans.


Refund and Return Policy
What is your Refund and Return Policy

Please confirm the refund and return policy with the Seller. Noozhoo provides market creation, merchandising, and transaction services. The handling and delivery of merchandise and services is the responsibility of the seller. Buyers are instructed to know their Sellers and seek references and referrals through the community and networks, and other available sources. Noozhoo does not distribute or ship product, handle disputes between buyers and sellers, or provide product support in any way.

I did not place this order and do not recognize the charge on the credit card statement. I think it is fraud, what do I do?

We take fraud very seriously. But, it could be an unintentional error. If you have attempted to contact the Seller to resolve the issue and have not been successful, please report the incident to us. Please provide the following information in your correspondence or have it ready before calling: your Noozhoo email and contact information, Seller information, name on your credit card and card type, description(s) , amounts, and date(s) of the charges, and your billing and shipping address. Note that we do not recommend you send sensitive personal information via non-secured email.

Note that all information that you provide us, along with all related log files and IP addresses may be forwarded to the appropriate police department, district attorney or other applicable law enforcement agencies. In addition, cybercrime agencies may use this data to investigate and establish the physical location, computer, and owner that originated and / or operates the the account.

I got an email or phone call from someone saying they were from Noozhoo (or Campus Cellect) requesting sensitive personal information or to verify my login / password. I think it's fishy. What do I do?

Note that we will not call or email you requesting sensitive personal information. You need to initiate the contact with Noozhoo / Campus Cellect using one of the Contact Us methods. If anyone reporting to be from Noozhoo or Campus Cellect does contact you by phone or email requesting sensitive information, please contact us via one of the Contact Us methods. DO NOT reply to or click on emails reportedly from Noozhoo or Campus Cellect that request sensitive personal information or ask you to verify login or account information. We don't do that. Please report any such emails or phone calls to us immediately.

Also note that making a false claim is a criminal offense and we take those seriously as well.

What is Your Membership Cancellation Policy?

You can cancel your membership at any time, simply login to your account, select "my account" in the left menu bar and then "cancel my account". Your account will be cancelled.

Note that if you must close, or transfer to another administrator, any stores you administer before cancelling your membership.

How do I close a store I created?

You can cancel you store agreement by notifying Noozhoo / Campus Cellect of your intention to close the store. You'll need to make sure that you fullfill any pending orders and obligations to your buyers. Please see the current Noozhoo Terms and Conditions for the current procedures to close a store and then call us at 1-800-356-6414.
